Mombasa – Controversial preacher Paul Nthenge Mackenzie has made headlines again, walking back his chilling warning to Kenyans upon his arrest.

The preacher found himself on the wrong side of the law after police discovered his cult, in which dozens of people starved to death under the promise of meeting Jesus.

Mackenzie was arrested following this tragic event, but, incredibly, the man of God left a cryptic note while in custody.

Mackenzie advised the officers and everyone gathered around the police van not to investigate the incident as it would come back to haunt them.

“Mnachopigana nacho hamkijui na kitawaramba, kitawaramba nawaambia (You don’t know what you are fighting with, it will haunt you, I tell you),” he said.

What Mackenzie reminded Kenyans of

Speaking after a recent court appearance, Mackenzie raised eyebrows with his remarks amid growing discontent among Kenyans.

“Si unaona tu kinawaramba? Si unaona Kenya inarambwa? Eeeh…ama namna gani? Kenya inarambwa hii,” he exclaimed, referring to the state of the nation.

Mackenzie, known for his controversial views and prophetic statements, suggested that Kenyans have yet to fully grasp the gravity of the situation.

He asked the scribes around him to let him conclude his current business before having a one-on-one meeting.

The cult leader suggested he would be willing to explain his comments once he had finished his legal battles.

“Wait until we’re done, and then we’ll have a good time questioning…yeah…really good. Let’s settle this matter, and then we can sit properly in front of the camera and get it all out. Time will tell. “, he added.
